Charles Vaillant

Group Vice President Technology
Charles Vaillant is the Global Vice President of Technology for the MANN+HUMMEL group. He joined MANN+HUMMEL in 1997 and is currently responsible for innovation, new technology research, corporate strategy and corporate ventures. Charles has held a variety of positions in the areas of program management, design & development, product engineering and corporate development. He is based out of our North Carolina Innovation Center located on the campus of North Carolina State University. Charles recently created an IoT Lab in Singapore, at the Heart of Singapore’s start-up ecosystem, to accelerate the digitalization of MANN+HUMMEL products. In 2015, he established in Raleigh, North Carolina i-2-m LLC, a startup company to accelerate commercialization of new technologies in the fields of clean air, clean water, energy and life science. Charles earned an Automotive engineering degree from LTR Eiffel (France), a Masters in Industrial Marketing from ESIDEC (France) and an M.B.A from the University of Michigan Ross Business School (USA). He lives with his wife and two daughters in Raleigh, NC USA

MANN + HUMMEL

MANN+HUMMEL GMBH develops, manufactures, and supplies filtration systems to automotive, mechanical engineering, industrial, and water purification industries in Germany and internationally. It offers cabin filters, fuel filter systems, crankcase ventilations, air induction systems, oil filter systems, and water filtration systems; and other products, such as EDM filters, coolant expansion tanks, air/oil separators, oil mist separator/aerosol separators, oil pans, and centrifuges. The company sells its products through dealers. MANN+HUMMEL GMBH was formerly known as FILTERWERK MANN+HUMMEL GMBH and changed its name to MANN+HUMMEL GMBH in April 2003. The company was founded in 1941 and is based in Ludwigsburg, Germany with an additional office in Johannesburg, South Africa. MANN+HUMMEL GMBH operates as a subsidiary of Mann + Hummel Holding GmbH.
