Introduction:
Hello my name is Sewa Bhatt. I am a Manager leading Global Patient Safety IT at Eli Lilly & Company managing a billion dollars of assets for the company. I have worked for over 20 years leading global teams and successfully delivering complex global programs.
I am joining this conference to share my quest to understand the role of Technology and whether it is taking us, “the Humans” - forwards or backwards?
Technology continues to advance, nothing new with that -Â it has since stone ages. However, the advancement in technology specially in digital technology and machine learning seems to have accelerated recently. While we are seeing tremendous positive change due to these technologies; there seems to be some underlying negative aspects to the advancements, which has puzzled me and many others who I have talked to regarding this topic.
If you’d like to share your thoughts, discuss and decide whether technology is helping or hindering, join me at the World Café to deep dive on the topic – “is technology taking us forwards or backwards?”
